The principal pattern names have long been in general publication and we do not ask for their withdrawal. What we ask is that the complete list — with the scales that decide and the corresponding ranks — not be published in a form usable as a guide to reproduction. The difference between knowing that a provision exists and holding the instructions for breaching it is the one we hold to.
